October Update
Academy Activity
On a Friday night we had our activity at the English Academy. Our activity for the night was a
photo scavenger hunt. We had a list of locations/items in English and the teams had to figure
what the items were and then find them and take a picture. The team we worked with were
the boys that have become our friends in our neighborhood. They had a blast and came in
second place. We always take time to have a devotion and share about Jesus Christ. The
boys keep asking about when the next activity is going to be. We love these boys.

NICA Friends/Games/Coffee
God has blessed us with many new friends here in Nicaragua. We have the opportunity to serve them and
also have them help us serve the Lord for his glory!!!
Quinceanera
On Sunday October 14th we attended the Quincinuera of Pastor Frank's daughter, Rosa Rebeca , at our
village at San Antonio. This celebration is for girls when they turn 15 years old. They walked about one
half mile to the church and the whole celebration last over 5 hours.

San Antonio Friends
These are the faces of some of the children and youth at San Antonio that we have come to love.
God has blessed us with these new friends and given us the opportunity to speak into their lives
the love of Christ.

Kaylee
Excitement always follows Kaylee. She sprained ligaments and broke a bone in her foot, she is voting
for the first time, and she is turning eighteen in November.

Bible Studies
We began our Bible studies during October in Matagalpa and also at our village in San Antonio. What a
blessing to spend each week teaching others how to understand the Bible and fall in love with Jesus. We
love these days.
God has blessed us with a wonderful month of studies, allowing us to travel to the village at San Antonio
to study God's word. My brother in Christ, Roberto, was a tremendous benefit as we worked together
to discuss God's sovereign unchanging plan with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit from before creation
through Christ's ultimate return to take us home with him for eternity to delight in God and give
him glory.
The consistency of God's message in his love letter to us in
66 books, written over 1500 years, by 40 authors,
in 3 languages with no
electricity; no phone, internet, text or twitter; travel by foot or animal and
PROVEN
over time by his unfolding history is amazing. We are always humbled that his plan is to work through us to
reach others with his message. We understand Paul's excitement about teaching others about God's love
and how to love him in return.
